Dog & Groom at Two London Dog Shows This September

Dog & Groom will be out and about at two much-loved community dog shows, meeting local owners, talking coat care and sharing some of our favourite grooming products, toys and treats.
We’re delighted to be taking part in the Friends of Wandsworth Common Dog Show and the BTRC Parsons Green Dog Show. Both events bring together the best parts of London dog life: friendly people, happy dogs, local community spirit and plenty of chances to celebrate every kind of canine character. The BTRC dog show also helps raise funds for brain tumor research.
If your dog loves attention, enjoys a good sniff around a busy green space or simply likes meeting new people, we’d love to see you there.

We’ll be attending two community dog shows in London:

Dog shows like these are one of our favourite ways to meet customers in person. Online and over the phone advice can be useful, but nothing beats seeing a dog’s coat, hearing about their daily routine and talking through grooming questions face to face.
At both shows, we’ll be ready to chat about grooming, coat care and the everyday products that can make life easier for dogs and their owners. Whether your a regular or new client, If you do come along, make sure you stop by our stand.
We’d love to meet you, hear about your dog and help with any grooming questions you have.
We’ll be happy to talk through grooming habits, product choices and the practical details that make a difference.
That might include:
Choosing a brush or comb for your dog’s coat type
Understanding when tangles can turn into matting
Keeping paws clean after wet walks
Managing shedding between grooming appointments
Some dogs love being groomed. Others need time, patience and the right approach. Meeting owners in person gives us a chance to have those honest, useful conversations.
Coat care is not only about how a dog looks. It can affect comfort too. Regular brushing can help keep loose hair under control, reduce tangles and make it easier to spot small issues such as grass seeds or burrs caught in the coat.

Why we love meeting dogs and owners in person
Whether you’ve been a regular Dog & Groom customer for years or you’re discovering us for the first time, we love meeting you and your dogs in person.
Dog & Groom is built around practical, everyday care. We love good-quality products, but we also know that having the right advice can make those products so much more useful.
Every dog is different. A brush that works beautifully on one coat may not be right for another. A shampoo that suits one dog’s routine might not be ideal for a dog who loves getting muddy in the pond on the common!
And grooming a calm adult dog can be a completely different experience from grooming a wriggly puppy who thinks everything is an exciting game to be played.
If you’re already a Dog & Groom customer, it’s lovely to finally meet you and put a face to the name. If you’re new to us, please come over and say hello — there’s no need to be an expert in grooming and no such thing as a silly question.

The BTRC Parsons Green Dog Show on Saturday 19th September will bring another wonderful community day to west London in September.
